To Sharpen a Drill Bit:
1. Using the Angle Adjustment Index above, choose the proper angle for the bit to be sharpened.
2. Place drill in cradle with bit point overhang as indicated in table.
3. Adjust the lip rest until it extends slightly into the flute of the drill.
4. Adjust the rear bracket to support the back of the bit.
5. With the grinder off, move Drill Grinding Attachment toward grinding wheel until the bit grazes the wheel. Lock base securely to the workbench.
6. Turn on grinder and grind the drill with slow, short sweeps. Advance the bit gradually with the feed screw until the entire surface is ground.
7. Turn of grinder and loosen attachment from workbench.
8. Loosen the bit clamp and rotate the drill bit until the opposite flute is touching the lip rest. Tighten clamp.
9. Sharpen second side of bit.
