Our Adjustable Trammels work great for marking over large distances, tracing contours and scribing circles. The 6” scribing points are adjustable, and can also be replaced with pencils, pens, crayons and soapstone for marking various surfaces. In addition, the scriber point are off-center to allow fine adjustment of the trammels. The heavy-duty clamps will fit 5/8” to 1-1/2” beams of any length.
• Set includes two trammels and two 6” scriber points.
• Clamp opening fits 5/8” to x 1-1/2” beam.
• Off-center, eccentric scriber points allow fine adjustment of trammels.
• Scribers are adjustable and can be replaced with pencils, pens, etc.
• For marking and scribing over large distances.
Instructions:
1. Loosen clamp screw and attached trammels to 5/8” to 1-1/2” thick beam.
2. Assure that scriber points are both adjusted to the same height.
3. Adjust the trammels to the desired diameter and tighten clamp screw.
4. Rotate the scriber points, allowing the off-center points to dial in on your exact measurement.
5. Tighten locking screw.
