The rugged, 6" Dial Caliper is made from hardened stainless steel for the utmost in accuracy and durability. The large, clear dial accurately reads to .001 and has an adjustable bezel for zero setting. The body of the caliper features a satin chrome scale with etched graduations, and a covered rack prevents dirt and chips from entering the gear mechanism. There is also an adjustable stop rod for taking depth measurements.

	Although I don't have another tool to verify the accuracy, it seems quite good, always comes back to "0". It will measure for the full 6" and a little beyond. The thumb adjustment is easy to use but is a little touchy when measuring to the 1/1000th" My only complaint is that the "instructions and callouts" identifying the components are missing from the packaging.
