GENERAL TOOLS ANNOUNCES NEW ENHANCED WEBSITE
Upgrade to Site Improves Product Reference and Sourcing
General Tools Mfg., Co., LLC a major supplier of specialty hand tools for the Plumbing, Hardware, Woodworking HVAC/R and Plant Maintenance industries, announces a new, completely upgraded website to support their distribution channel, new acquisitions, new markets, increased product offering and corporate re-alignment.
"We are excited about the expansion of the General Tools product line and the new markets that we now have access to," said Joe Ennis, President and CEO of General. "Our recent corporate and product acquisitions embody General's commitment of providing new and unique product offerings on a continual basis. We are becoming a product development company and the creation of our new web site was essential to enable us to better educate our customers and to offer a source to purchase products not available elsewhere."
General Tools is totally committed to its retail and industrial distribution channels which, in some cases, date back for decades. The site is designed as an enhanced product reference but will also allow General to offer some direct, e-commerce activity. "Our product line is so extensive that many of our items are not available through our traditional channels and we've had no previous outlet for our close-outs and special product offerings," Ennis said.
